The deployment of police and/or mobile security guards

When an emergency call is received by the Emergency Center, the operator will immediately determine via a listening connection (e.g. after detecting violence) whether the police should be called. If the operator cannot determine it (correctly), a mobile invigilator will be sent to the alarm location.

The X-Guard alarm center is a PAC alarm center, it is allowed alleen After determining that police deployment is necessary, deploy the police. From July 1, 2021, the police will strictly monitor this because there are too many false alarms. Learn more about this at this website.

How does it work?

When an emergency call is transferred to the X-Guard emergency center, a listening connection is immediately set up with an operator. The person sending an alarm hears nothing (no ring or transition tone) and there is no direct voice contact with the operator. The operator must at least 30 seconds listen to determine the situation. If (verbal) violence is observed, the operator will immediately call the police. If the operator does not hear anything or cannot properly determine whether help is necessary, the operator will call the person who sent the alarm to assess the situation and determine whether the police should be deployed. If, after extensive observation, it is determined that no police are needed, the alarm will be closed as an unnecessary alarm.

If the person who sent the alarm is not available, the operator will call one of our mobile invigilators. The mobile invigilator will go to the alarm location to assess the situation. Our invigilators also have the X-Guard Alarm app on their smartphones, which makes them traceable. Our operator will always call the nearest invigilator. The invigilator will check the situation and, if necessary, take action upon arrival by immediately calling the police or ambulance. An invigilator may not take any action himself if physical violence is observed.

Costs

There are costs associated with alerting an emergency center and deploying mobile security guards.
Note: This applies NOT for app users who raise alarms within the Public group.

How does it work?

1
You send an alarm
2
People nearby (or emergency response) within 200m are called to help
3
No one available? The emergency center is called and determines whether the police should be deployed
4
If in doubt, app users within a radius of 2000m are called to see what is going on
5
No one within 2000m on call? Mobile security guards or key holders are deployed
